Hazeldene Farm Shop

Hazeldene Farm ShopAt Hazeldene we believe in good quality, ethically produced food. Our shop is stocked with high quality meat from our farm and other local or quality produce.

Buying meat from Hazeldene Farm means there is a very low carbon footprint and you know the provenance of the food you are buying.

Our beef is from Traditional Herefords. Hereford cattle are often used for beef but not the Traditional Hereford such as we have at the Farm.

Liz at the Real Food FestivalOur lamb comes from the Oxford Down Sheep renowned for its succulent meat.

Our British Lop Pig, one of the rarest native pigs, produce excellent Pork and Bacon.

We have fresh meat available Thursday and Friday and our shop is always well stocked with groceries, but for the biggest selection of fresh meat and vegetables come Saturday or Sunday.

Although the farm is no longer certified organic, the meat is naturally reared: free from pesticides, artificial fertilisers, antibiotics and growth promoters. We use high quality and where possible non-gm feed.

Protecting the environment is high on our agenda. We have dug a wildlife pond and have a formal herb garden. Between then, they encourage various species such as frog, toads, newts, bees, butterflies, and dragonflies. We have also installed bee hives and the bees which enjoy the beautiful lavender in the herb garden.

Hazeldene Farm ShopThere are many quality products to be found in the shop, some local.

We have a good seletion of tinned vegetables, jams and sauces, flour and seasonings, rice and pasta, cordials and juice, as well as dairy produce and cheeses.

Comments from our Website

"I just wanted to tell you how wonderful your burgers are. I bought them from the Great Missenden festival and cooked them for my family the following day. They were absolutely beautiful. Certainly more 'steak' than burger. So this is a quick email to say thank you and well done for your yummy food!" - Jeanette
